ALUMNI AWARDS GALA

The Alumni Awards Gala honors the achievements of nine alumni and two students of CSULA in areas including professional achievement, University service, community service and/or academic achievement.

The 35th Annual Alumni Awards Gala took place on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex at Cal State L.A.

The gala event, organized by the Alumni Association, included a unique dinner, followed by an Academy Awards-style ceremony complete with multimedia video presentation.

The gala started with a VIP Reception (For Platinum Partners, Premier Partners and Golden Eagle Benefactors ONLY) at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m., and the awards presentation at 7:30 p.m.  The Master of Ceremonies was Barry Gordon '86, Past President of the Screen Actors Guild, Actor/Radio Personality, and recipient of the 1988 Alumnus of the Year Award.
