The Business Alumni Network connects CSULA Alumni Association members that are graduates of the College of Business and Economics or have strong interest in the field. Members have the opportunity to network with successful CSULA business professionals, maintain contact with business advisors and professors, meet prospective employers and employees, and mentor CSULA Business and Economics students.

"Welcome!  As your new Business Network representative, my goals are: to foster a supportive and friendly environment that provides CSULA Alumni members the opportunity to enhance their professional and personal network; to develop events, workshops, and seminars that provide networking opportunities that encourage greater CSULA Alumni and current student involvement; to assist in increasing the overall visibility of the Alumni Association by promoting and representing the University and the Alumni Association at various networking events."

CSULA Business Alumni Network Representative

Formerly, Ernie held a buyer position for Capital Construction and Facilities Purchasing at the University of Southern California; where he negotiated and reviewed contracts, and conducted bids on behalf of the University.  Currently he is working towards an MBA with an emphasis in Finance.  He serves as a regional representative at the Southern California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and is a member of the national Hispanic Business Society of MBAS.

Ernie graduated from Cal State L.A. in 2004 with a degree in Business Administartion.    

Members of the Business Alumni Network have generously awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to bright and deserving Cal State L.A. business undergraduate and graduate students.
