ALUMNI ASSOCIATION STANDING
COMMITTEES
If
you are interested in
getting more involved
in the Alumni Association
with a greater commitment
than helping out at
an occasional program
or event, a standing
committee might be right
for you.
Standing committees
meet regularly (usually
4-6 times a year) to
discuss policies and procedures
surrounding different
areas of the CSULA
Alumni Association
programming and business.
Current standing committees
include:
Alumni Scholarship
Committee
The Alumni
Scholarship Program
provides students
with financial
assistance in
recognition of their
leadership, service
and participation in
student activities,
and academic
excellence.
Each year the
recipients are
selected through an
application and
interview process
conducted by the
scholarship
Committee of alumni
volunteers.
The Alumni
Scholarship
Committee determines
policies and
procedures for the
scholarship
selection process,
and directs the
selection process.

with staff in
determining program
