The Annual Fund is committed to building positive relationships among the Universitys alumni, parents and friends to benefit our students. Each year individuals are contacted through a student-centered phonathon, direct mail campaign or personal visit so that they may be provided an opportunity to support vital programs that are not state-assisted, but enhance the educational experience for so many students. These contributions directly assist students in the form of scholarships, campus improvements, and specific program support.

Charitable giving decisions are personal and the amount you are able to give may depend on many factors. It is impossible to place a dollar value on you experience with Cal State L.A., though you can think of your gift as an investment in the future. Gifts to the Annual Fund vary greatly depending upon each individuals ability to give, but all gifts are important to our success and greatly appreciated. Donors of $1,000 or more annually receive special recognition as members of the President's Associates, a prestigious Annual Giving club.

Today, the campus comprises a faculty of internationally recognized scholars, and more than 21,000 students with a variety of interests, ages and backgrounds that reflect the citys dynamic mix of populations.
